Operating range
The operating range is only
displayed when the reserve
level is reached. It is deter-
mined on the basis of the
previous riding style and the
available fuel.
If the motorcycle is resting on
its side stand, the level in the
tank cannot be measured
correctly, so this estimate of
residual operating range will
be inaccurate.
The Tripmaster registers that
you have refueled when
approximately 5 pints (3 liters)
have been added.
Resetting trip meter
• Switch on the ignition.
• Select the desired trip meter.
• Press the Tripmaster
button
1
for longer than
2 seconds.
» The trip meter is set to zero.
Emergency ON/OFF
switch
The engine can easily be
switched off during or after a
fall using the emergency
ON/OFF switch.
Actuating the emergency
ON/OFF switch while
driving can cause the rear
wheel to lock up, resulting in
a fall.
Never actuate the emergency
ON/OFF switch while driving.
