Side stand
If the side stand is extended
and a gear engaged, you can-
not start the motorcycle.
If the motorcycle was started
in the neutral position and then
a gear is engaged with the side
stand unfolded, the engine
switches off.
Manual transmission
The motorcycle can be started
with the transmission in neu-
tral or with the transmission in
gear and the clutch disen-
gaged Disengage the clutch
only after switching on the
ignition.
In the neutral position, the
"neutral" indicator light lights
up in green and the gear
display in the multifunction
display shows 0.
Starting
Do not turn the throttle
twistgrip when starting
the engine. At ambient tem-
peratures below 32 °F (0 °C),
pull in the clutch lever after
switching on the ignition.
