SECURING MOTORCYCLE
FOR TRANSPORTATION
Protect all component sur-
faces against which tension-
ing straps are routed against
scratching. For example, use
adhesive tape or soft cloths.
ATTENTION
Motorcycle tips to the side
when raising
Component damage cause by
tipping over
Secure the motorcycle
against tipping to the
side, preferably with the
assistance of a second
person.
Push the motorcycle onto the
transportation flat and hold it
in position: do not place it on
the side stand or center stand.
ATTENTION
Pinching of components
Component damage
Do not pinch components,
e.g. brake lines or wiring
harnesses.
Pass the tensioning straps on
the left and right through the
fork bridge and strap the mo-
torcycle down.
Fasten the rear tensioning
straps on both sides of the
holder for the passenger
footrests and tighten.
