Disable Peer-to-Peer Normal Send IT policy rule
Description
This rule specifies whether to prevent a BlackBerry® device user from sending PIN messages that are not encrypted when using
the S/MIME Support Package for BlackBerry® smartphones or the PGP® Support Package for BlackBerry® smartphones.
Default value
The default value is No.
Usage
If you change this rule to Yes, to send PIN messages the user must install the S/MIME Support Package for BlackBerry smartphones
or the PGP Support Package for BlackBerry smartphones on a BlackBerry device. You must also turn on S/MIME message
processing on the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, or configure the PGP Universal Server Address IT policy rule to permit PGP
message processing.
To turn off all PIN messaging, configure the Allow Peer-to-Peer Messages IT policy rule to No.
