Sends the Serial Console Port Manager’s configuration parameters to an ASCII
text file as described in
Chapter 8

ARAMETERS
Displays configuration of an individual port, but does not allow the user to change
parameters. Ports with User-Level command capability cannot display parameters
for other ports. Normally, the Port Parameters screens will not include the Port
Password. Note, however, that when the Supervisor Mode is active, the /WP option
can be used to display the password for the target port. For more information,
please refer to
Section 6.3
.
Availability:
Supervisor/User.

/W[P] [xx]

, where “P”, if included in a command sent from a
Supervisor port, causes the screen to list all defined port passwords, and “
xx
” is the
port number or name; if “
xx
” is not included, parameters for your resident port
will be displayed.
Response:
Displays Port Parameters screens.
Example:
To display parameters for a port named “SERVER”, access the
Command Mode from a port with Supervisor-Level command capability, and type
/W SERVER

Exits Command Mode. (This will not terminate port connections.) If the port is in
Modem Mode, this command also disconnects and resets the modem by sending
the hangup string, dropping the DTR line to the modem for 500 ms, and sending
the modem reset string.
