ARAMETERS
Displays a menu which is used to define the Site ID message and Supervisor
Password. When the Supervisor Password is defined, the Serial Console Port
Manager will display a password prompt before allowing access to Command
Mode. For more information, refer to
Section 5.4
.
Availability:
Supervisor only.

Response:
Displays System Parameters menu.

ELP
Displays a Help screen, which lists all of the Serial Console Port Manager’s
commands along with a brief description of each command.
Availability:
Supervisor/User.
Format:

Response:
Displays Help screen (the User-level Help screen does not include
information about Supervisor commands).
/I — D
EFAULT AND

EST
Tests internal memory and initializes the Port Manager with the default parameters
specified by the Setup Switches.
CAUTION
When the /I command is invoked, the Serial Console Port Manager will
revert to the parameters specified by the Setup Switches. Any
command-selected parameters will be lost.
Availability:
Supervisor only.
Format:
/I[/Y]
[Enter]
, where “/Y” optionally suppresses the “Sure?” prompt.
Response:
Verbose:
“Are you Sure (y/n)?” prompt, followed by memory test and
initialization if you type “
