Connection of Pulse Oximetry Probe
The pulse oximetry probe is a complex measuring instrument which should be used for measuring by following
current methods and steps. Improper operational method may cause damages to the probe.
Steps of Operations:
1.
Connect the plug of the pulse oximetry probe to the corresponding ‗SpO
2
‘ interface on the left panel of the
monitor. Please push or pull plug by using fingers to hold the plug head.
2.
Insert the forefinger or middle finger or ring finger of the subject into probe by referring to Figure 6.24.
