11.5  Disassembly of the lithium battery

  WARNING

The lithium battery must be replaced if the terminal loses the date and time when powered.

Proceed in the following way, with reference to Figure 11.6:
•  Switch off the terminal and disconnect it from the electricity main.
•  Open the terminal (chap. 11.1 page  99).
•  Remove the scale power supplier (chap. 11.4 page  103).
•  Remove the lithium battery (ref. 1) taking care to prevent short circuits.

  CAUTION

Do not allow the battery to drop on to the mother board.

•  Replace with an equivalent battery (model CR1616).

  CAUTION

This  battery  must  be  disposed  of  separately  or  taken  to  the  dealer  or  a  differentiated  waste 

disposal center.
