Video Output

The camera’s TV out port provides audio and video output for listening to sound clips and
viewing photos or video clips on a standard TV screen. Use the Audio/Video setup function to
set the operating mode.

Set the video output mode to either NTSC or PAL. Refer
to your local authorities for information on whether
NTSC or PAL is used in your region.

For information on connecting your camera to a TV, see
“Connecting to a TV” on page 47.

Power Saving

When power saving is turned on, the LCD screen will turn
off after three minutes of disuse, and will shut down
completely after five minutes. It is recommended that
power saving be turned on to avoid accidental discharging
of the battery.
