If any movement of the tip or root end balance
weights has occurred, scrap the blade.
(4)
If the retention bushings show evidence of
looseness, scrap the blade.
(5)
If skin of either blade is wrinkled or deformed,
scrap both blades.
(6)
If blade tip block shows evidence of movement or
is loose, scrap the tail rotor blade.
(7)
If blades pass the previous inspection
requirements and no other discrepancies exist, the blades are
acceptable for service.

2.
Perform the following inspection if main rotor overspeed
exceeds 113%, but not more than 120%:
a.
Remove and perform a thorough visual inspection as
listed in step 1.
b.
Verify torque of tail rotor gearbox attachment studs.
3.
Perform the following inspections if main rotor overspeed
exceeds 120%. Remove and perform overhaul inspection on
the following components. Note overspeed as reason for
removal.
a.
Main rotor hub and blades
b.
Main rotor mast
c.
Main transmission
d.
Main driveshafts
e.
Swashplate and lever assembly
