be recognized by the software as a valid PIN assigned to the previously
defined User ID stored in the instrument memory. The User ID information
is reported and stored with the pH test results. Up to eight (8) User IDs and
PIN values may be defined and stored.

Security Access to ‘Options / System Settings’
Security access to the
Options / System Settings
functions is specified by the
current setting of the
Options / System Settings / Supervisor PIN
parameter.
When the
Supervisor PIN
value is disabled or the value is left undefined, set to
00000
(five zeros), access to the
System Settings
functions is unrestricted. Any
user may access the
System Settings
functions.
When the
Supervisor PIN
value is enabled and defined, by input of a sequence of
5 digits, the user is required to input this PIN value before accessing the
System
Settings
functions. The PIN value must be recognized by the software as the
valid
Supervisor PIN
value previously defined and stored in the instrument
memory.
