6. When the test is successfully completed the screen updates to display the test
results, for example:.

Additionally the results are automatically output to the instrument serial port
(see Note below). The results are output as a single line of 4 values separated
by commas and spaces, for example:
1027, 2148, 2.091, 6.24
7. From the test results screen, press any key to continue. The screen updates to
re-display the
Read pH/Exit
screen.
8. To exit the
Read Ratio
function, press the
<Options>
key. The software
returns to the
System Menu
.
NOTE:
When using the
Read Ratio
function, after the first pH measurement
is completed the instrument will automatically attempt to output the
result information to the serial port. The result information is then
discarded.
If there is no device currently connected to the serial port, the test result is not
output. The instrument does not display an "OFF-LINE" error message when
the
Read Ratio
function is in use. Additionally, on completion of any subsequent
measurement tests using the
Read Ratio
utility, the instrument will not again
attempt output of results to the serial port.
If a serial device is later connected to the instrument, in order to output new
results generated using the
Read Ratio
function it is necessary to:
a. Exit the
Read Ratio
function by pressing the
<Options>
key.
b. From the
System Menu
, select and restart the
Read Ratio
utility.

Set QC Values
Use this function to update the QC values stored in the instrument to match
those values provided with the certificate of calibration for the QC standard
following a recertification of the standard.
Proceed as follows:
1. From the
System Menu
screen, use the
Up / Down Arrow
keys as necessary to
scroll through the list until the

option is displayed on the
lower line of the screen. Press the
<Enter>
key to select use of this function.
Fr.:
The calculated mean of the signal data values collected from the
reference channel.
Fp:
The calculated mean of the signal data values collected from the
measurement channel.
Rp:
The calculated fluorescence ratio between the 2 channels.
pH:
The calculated pH measurement for this bag
