key. The following screen is
displayed:
Where
###.###.###.###
indicates the current setting for the IP address. The
cursor is placed below the first number in the first segment indicating that this
value is available for editing.
From this screen enter the numeric IP address for this instrument, as assigned
by the LIS System Administrator
.
The IP address must be a series of numeric
characters in the format
###.###.###.###
. The address must include all three
(3) numbers for each of the four segments of the address, including zeros if
necessary. A typical IP address will be similar to the following example:
192.168.001.101
.
When the appropriate IP address has been entered, press the
<Enter>
key to
accept the address entry and return to the
Ethernet Menu
.
NOTE:
If you make an error when entering the IP address information, press
the
<Options>
key to clear the current entry and start over.
To cancel use of this function, press the
<Options>
key again to return
to the
System Menu
.
Netmask
5. From the
Ethernet Menu
use the
Up / Down Arrow
keys as necessary to scroll
the list until the

option is displayed on the lower line of the screen.
6. From this screen press the
<Enter>
key. The following screen is displayed:

as specified by the LIS System Administrator

The Netmask must be a series

following example:
255.255.255.000
.
When the appropriate Netmask value has been entered, press the
<Enter>

Ethernet Menu
