Network Information Worksheet

You use the Quick-Start installation script (install.bat) to establish an initial IP 
network interface between the Model 5782 VNR and a Site Manager workstation. 
You can then use Site Manager to refine your configuration.

Use the Quick-Start installation script to add ATM to the router by:

•

Defining the physical link

•

Defining an ATM service record

•

Creating an ATM circuit

•

Adding the initial virtual circuit to the service record (PVCs only)

•

Enabling the IP protocol on the ATM service record

Sample Quick-Start Network Setup

Before running the install.bat script, you must first connect a terminal or PC to the 
Model 5000BH service port. In addition, you must also have a Site Manager 
workstation residing on the network to fully configure the Model 5782 ATM 
backplane interface.
