Running the Quick-Start Installation Script
After booting the router with the ti_5000.cfg file and establishing a new
Technician Interface session, you are ready to run the Quick-Start installation
script (install.bat). The router module should already be connected to the
appropriate Model 5000 chassis slot (see the procedure in
“Starting the Technician
Interface
).
Before you run the script, review the list of Quick-Start commands in
Table 3-4
.
To run the Quick-Start script:
1.
Start the script by entering the following command:
run install.bat
The Quick-Start installation script begins and displays the startup banner and
the introduction (
Figure 3-5
).
Note:
Use install.bat once to configure the initial interface. To configure other
interfaces, use Site Manager to create new configurations.
