Unsupported Vendor and Board Type
If your vendor, board type, or vendor and board type were not listed in
Figure A-3
, and you selected Other, the “Other” Hardware dialog box
opens (Figure A-4). Use this dialog box to configure your unsupported
card. Refer to information that accompanies your network adapter card
for details. Typically the information is included in an NDIS or LAN
Manager section of the installation guide.

Type the
protocol.ini
section name in the Section Name field.
You can find the section name in the sample
protocol.ini
file that
came with your NDIS network adapter card.

Type the driver name in the Driver Name field. Find the driver
name in the sample
protocol.ini
file that came with your NDIS
network adapter card.
3.
Type the actual name of the driver file in the Driver File field.
Your network adapter card vendor provides this information.
