Adjustment :
Example:
What to do if the front door doesn’t stop in his down position.
Let’s asssume that the front door goes to far down(it means the front door would not
stop at his mechanical end position of the SilverWriter)(see drawing below). To bring
the ‘front door down stop’ more up one has to put the TOP screw in his OFF position
and move the front door over distance ‘X’ up. After the adjustment you have to put
the screw back in his ON position to test the ‘correct down stop position’ of the front
door. It’s very good possible that the door will stop to soon. Then you have to do
another adjustment with the TOP screw on OFF and moving the front door down
untill he is just closed and the SilverWriter detected that the door is closed. With the
LTL command ‘chkswi’ you can verify if the SilverWriter detects the front door when
it’s closed. It’s possible that you have to do all this several times untill the door is
correct adjusted.
CHKSWI will read and display the status of 6 switches: the status is in normal or
reverse video. When the switch status changes, the display status should toggle:
· filmdoor: microswitch of filmdoor.
Adjusting the upper position can be done in the same way but you have to use the
bottom screw of the motor.
The working voltage of the motor is 24 volt DC at 2.5 amps. To switch between left
and right turning, just reverse the polarity of the 24 V DC to the wires of the rolling
shutter-motor. In the cable of the front door motor, a connector is installed. You can
take the cables out of this connector for easily reversing the polarity. The cable can
be find on the left side of the stepmotor assembly.
The following is written on the cable near the connector:
Powersupply side : FFE1/FRE12
FFE2/FREPE
FFE3/FFU2
Motor
side
:
FML1/HMTBR
