The ventilation openings at
the top should be at least
50 cm below the ceiling
Ventilation-openings
The space between the fi replace (hearth surround/brick work) and the fi re itself should
be left completely open so that there is an empty space. At least 20 mm of free space
should be left on both sides of the fi re. Ventilate the fi replace, by placing ventilation ope-
nings at the top and bottom of the chimney breast.
The total ventilation openings should be at least 450 cm
2
at the bottom of the chimney
breast and also at least 450 cm
2
at the top of the chimney breast.

Positioning the fan set (option)
The convection fan system (1 fan) is connected in the fi re without making use of fl exible
connection hoses.
The fan set consists of:
• fan
• clickson (temperature-switch)
• cable
• assembly material
Fitting the fan set:
• The fan set can be fully assembled from inside in the fi re.
° Remove the grate, the ashtray and the bottom/side plates.
° Then unscrew the steel bottom plate and remove it.
° Dismantle the fan holder.
