Service and repair
To achieve a consistent sonication quality, the ultrasonic bath is to be inspected at regular
intervals. For this purpose, the maintenance instructions are described in the following
chapters. Use of the ultrasonic bath must be discontinued if errors or defects are found.
See chapters 6.4 and for 6.5 repair and service instructions.
6.1
User maintenance
The following ultrasonic bath checks should be carried out by the user at regular intervals.
6.1.1 Check LCD display
• Switch on the ultrasonic bath
• Check that the display is lit up
6.1.2
Cleaning the cooling system
The integrated refrigeration unit and pump must be
fl
ushed at regular intervals to prevent
possible deposits resulting from the circulating contact liquid. To do so, check whether
the
fl
ow is at approx. 3.5 l/min. TICKOPUR TR 13 is recommended in 5 % dosage for
subsequent rinsing.

• Connect the hose to the drain nozzle, see chapter 4.4.
• Place empty bucket under the outlet
• Fill the bucket with contact liquid and prepare it for re
fi
lling
• Switch on the ultrasonic bath -> the pump must always be running during the inspection,
the
fi
ll level of the tank must be above the inlet and the
fi
ll level sensor and must always
be re
fi
lled
• Open the shut-o
ff
valve for 1 minute and re
fi
ll the liquid permanently so that the level
sensor is always in the liquid
• Close the shut-o
ff
valve
• Check liquid in the provided empty bucket after 1 minute -> there should be 3.5 l of
liquid in the bucket
Bucket content after 1 minute at approx. 3. l -> no rinsing necessary
Bucket contents well below 3 l after 1 minute -> urgently
