Installation Instructions for
U-10, 13, 19, 20 LHREC Ultrasonic Cleaners
Please Note: Not Following the Installation Instructions/Steps Will Void The Warranty!
1. A GFI equipped outlet should be installed on the inside of the cabinet near the location of the recessed
ultrasonic cleaner. A qualified electrician can install the outlet if needed.
2. Using the template measurements located on the BrandMax website, cut the opening in the desired
location on the counter top. Before opening is made, make sure there is an additional 2-3 inches of level
space on all sides of the opening, to make sure flanges are able to sit flat on the counter surface.
3. Remove protective film on top and bottom of flange.
4. Dispense a bead of silicone adhesive around the opening. This is an IMPORTANT step to complete.
If not done correctly, water can leak into the unit damaging the internal components and also cause
damage to cabinetry.
5. Insert the ultrasonic unit into the opening, making sure the flanges are flat on the cabinet surface. Wipe off
any excess silicone at this time.
6. Once the unit is installed, confirm the unit is level on all four sides of flange.
7. Determine the location for the installation of the recessed control panel in proximity to the ultrasonic
unit. There are two types of displays, RCP1 & optional flush mount CK3. Using the template, located on the
BrandMax website, install the display in the desired location.
8. After recessed control panel is installed, connect the communication cable to the appropriate connection
located on the side of recessed unit.
9. Install the supplied drain tubing to the barb fitting on the side of the unit securing it with an included cable
tie. Install the other side to drain underneath cabinet, secure tubing with included cable tie.
10. Install power cord to side of unit, plug power cord into GFI equipped outlet.
11. Fill unit with water.
12. Turn unit on and check all buttons on recessed control panel for functionality.
13. Explain to the customer the unique features that the BrandMax Ultrasonic Cleaner provides. i.e. turning on
the heat, setting the time, etc.
14. Please Note! - Please instruct the customer: DO NOT remove the drain filter unless tank is completely dry.
This filter protects the solenoid and removing the filter will VOID the WARRANTY!
15. CAUTION! - Flush tank after every drain cycle, not doing this will void warranty!
