6.2.2
Functional check
The ultrasonic bath is put into operation without accessories in order to check all
components for proper functioning. If the pump is defective, it may and must be ordered
separately (order no.: 3500160).
6.2.3 Pre-cleaning
• Clean ultrasonic bath with TR 13 (10 % = 4.5 l water + 50 ml TR 13)
• Switch on the ultrasonic bath
• Operate the ultrasonic bath without cooling for 1 hour (set target temperature to 40 °C,
cooling cannot be switched o
ff
otherwise)
• Empty the ultrasonic bath and rinse with clear water
Note:
While draining the liquid, a
fl
ow-thru test can be performed by collecting the leaking liquid
for 1 minute while the pump is running. If necessary, fresh water must be re
fi
lled in the
ultrasonic bath so that the sensor is always covered by liquid. A container with a capacity of
at least 5 l should be used to collect the liquid. After 1 minute there should be at least 3.5 l
of liquid in the container.
6.2.4 Replace
components
• All hoses, incl. moulded hose of the internal
fl
ushing circuit, are replaced
• Functional pump must be disassembled according to manufacturer’s speci
fi
cations and
thoroughly cleaned; if the pump is defective, a new pump must be installed
