Cleaning the pump:
Caution
During maintenance work, there is a risk of crushing
fi
ngers due to high magnetic forces.
- Remove the pump.
- Unlock the pump cover (bottom left) and remove the pump parts according to
the drawing (top).
- Clean the pump under running water as shown in the
fi
gure (lower right) using
a cleaning brush.
- Then reassemble in the same order.
- Check the function and delivery rate of the pump. If the
fl
ow rate of the pump is
less than 3.5 l/min, the pump must be cleaned or replaced (order no. 3500160)
• Rinse the ultrasonic bath with TICKOMED 1 (3 % = 4.85 l water + 150 ml TICKOMED 1)
• Switch on the ultrasonic bath
• Operate the ultrasonic bath without cooling for 1 h (set the target temperature to 40 °C
so that cooling is not activated)
• Empty the ultrasonic bath and rinse with clear water
• Repeat the cleaning process until no more impurities are visible and the liquid
remains clear
• Conduct function test as described in chapter 6.1.5
• Empty the ultrasonic bath and rinse thoroughly with clear water while the pump is active
so that the hoses can also be rinsed with water and, if necessary, aluminium particles
entering the circuit are removed
