The Diagnostic Mode allows the module to execute ROM-based
diagnostics. It is important to note that in certain instances,
these diagnostics may erase the configuration. Therefore,
ensure that a backup configuration exists. Refer to 

Section 6

for details.

NOTE: The MFC is off-line during the diagnostic mode.
