Assembling
Mounting the MINOP TREND endoscope in the
MINOP TREND suction/irrigation sheath

Axially insert MINOP TREND endoscope

in
MINOP TREND suction/irrigation sheath

. When
doing this make certain that the lock of MINOP
TREND suction/irrigation sheath
2
is open and the
pin fits into the groove at the bayonet coupling of
MINOP TREND endoscope

, see Fig. 2.

Turn the clamping lever of MINOP TREND suction/
irrigation sheath
2
as far as it will go.
MINOP TREND endoscope
5
is now safely locked in
position.

Verify that irrigation button

does not show any
damage (valve seals, surfaces, etc.)

Screw irrigation button

into MINOP TREND han-
dle
3
down to the limit stop, see Fig. 3.
CAUTION
Damage to components caused by
excessive force!

Handle the components with
appropriate care.
WARNING
Restricted functionality of the
MINOP TREND (TRansnasal
ENDoscopy System) if the irrigation
button is not screwed in
completely!

Make certain that irrigation
button 4 is screwed into MINOP
TREND handle 3 down to the
stop.
CAUTION
Restricted functionality of the
MINOP TREND (TRansnasal
ENDoscopy System) due to
incorrect connecting direction of
the tubes!

Note the arrow on the MINOP
TREND handle.

Carry out function checks
before using the product.
