6 Installation and network wiring

(2) Network power
Network power is 24VDC. It is also available for power of ARD(analog) remote I/O.
You must use separate power for network power and I/O contact.
If using same power, it may cause network problem.
(3) Terminating resistance
120 Ω , 1% of metallic film, 1/4W
Do not install terminating resistances at ARD unit. If installing them at ARD unit, it may
cause network problem. (impedance can be too high or low. )
Connect terminating resistance on the both ends of the trunk line.
(4) Tap(selectable)
It is convenience to use taps for wiring network between ARD units at several places.


(5) Connector wiring

Wiring using a tap: Connect two connectors at a tap.
 Multi-drop wiring: Connect two cables to one connector (accessory)
