This picture shows how the pins on the back of the switch
are connected to their relevant position on the digital board.
Here you can see the wiring between the switch and the
Digital Board.
This will now allow us to toggle between the CON1 input
and the CON2 input.
Input Connections
Typically you will wire the RCA input into CON1. Then either use the XLR input or the USB input for CON2.
If you are using a USB input then you will install the 75-ohm resistor in R36 on the digital board.
If you are using the XLR input then you will install 110-ohm resistor into R36 on the digital board - this may have been
installed at the factory based on your configuration (USB XRL for example
– but can always be changed later).
The bottom line is that you can configure your DAC to support any two of the three source inputs (USB, RCA XLR) and
can be switched over at a later time to accommodate a different two.
