User Error Messages
Problem/Error Message
Possible Cause
Suggested Solution
Please remove the
biological indicator and
wait for the reader to
complete its warm-up
sequence.
BI is placed in reader
before it has a
chance to complete
the warm-up
sequence.
Insertion sensor is
out of calibration.
Wait until the reader has
completed the warm-up
sequence before attempting to
insert BIs.
If BIs are not present then
perform an insertion sensor
calibration after the reader
has completed its warm
up sequence. Refer to the
“Calibrate Insertion Sensor”
section (Chapter 7) for more
information.
You haven’t finished
filling in the requested
information. Please
follow the directions on
the screen and fill in the
requested information.
User has not
confirmed BI result.
Enter the required information
and confirm the result. Failure
to do so will result in delay of
other BI results.
An incompatible

has been scanned. A
