Date and Time
In the System Configuration utility touch
Date and Time
. Date and Time allows
the operator to set the current date and time for the geographic location. To ensure
record accuracy, the date, time, and time zone should be synchronized across the
system (i.e. the date, time, and time zone are set to the same value on the sterilizer,
reader, and ASP ACCESS). Touch
Done
to return to the Utilities Menu. Under Set Date
choose the current month, day, and, year from the drop down menus. Under Date
Format use the drop down menu to choose how the date is displayed on the Status
Screen. Under Set Time choose the current hour, minute, and AM or PM from the drop
down menus. Under Time Format choose how the time is displayed from the drop down
menu. Under Time Zone choose the time zone for the current geographic location from
the drop down menu.
IMPORTANT! Ensure that the time is synchronized between the reader, the
Sterilizer and the ASP ACCESS to prevent errors occurring during manual entry.
Calibrate Insertion Sensor
In the System Configuration utility touch
Calibrate Insertion Sensor.
This utility
allows the operator to recalibrate the insertion sensor in the event that the reader does
not detect an inserted BI, or the reader detects a BI where none are inserted. The reader
will prompt the user to remove all BIs from the reader wells. Touch
All Wells Are Empty
once the BIs have been removed, or touch
Cancel
to return to the previous screen. The
reader will display a loading graphic for approximately 3 seconds while the sensors are
calibrated. Successful calibration will display the message “Calibration Complete” for
approximately 3 seconds and then return to the System Configuration. Unsuccessful
calibration displays an error message and marks the affected wells as damaged.
