10.2.7. Envelope
When track 3 or track 4 is set to the Envelope type, the CV output is an AD envelope. When
a step is active, the envelope is triggered.
You are able to set the Decay time using the Step encoders, with values ranging from
1 to 100. The shape of the decay stage is exponential, with a maximum decay time of
approximately 10 seconds.
10.2.7.1. Secondary function for Gate: Attack
Using Shift and a Step Encoder, you can set the attack time of the AD envelope that has
been triggered by the step. The values range from 1 to 100.
The Attack stage is linear, with a maximum attack time of approximately 10 seconds.
10.2.8. LFO
When track 3 or track 4 is to the LFO type, the CV output is a periodic and unipolar function.
You can select one of the following waveforms:
• Tri (triangle LFO)
• Sin (sine LFO)
• Saw Up (rising saw LFO)
• Saw Down (falling saw LFO)
• Sqr (square LFO)
• SnH (sample & hold LFO)
You can set the LFO rate using the Step encoders. When a step is active, the function will be
held until a new active step occurs, in which case a new rate is calculated.
The rate values range from the lowest value of Hold (explained below) to values between 0.6
and 100 Hz, and proceed into quantized values: Q8, Q4, Q2, and Q1 (a whole note), followed
by subdivisions of a measure (1/2 note, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32).
Some notes about the LFO type:
• The value of Hold is a "freeze" of the last depth reached by the LFO. The value will
be held until a new step with a non-Hold value is reached.
• When using a quantized value, the LFO will reset at phase 0 on the active steps.
• When using an unquantized value, the LFO will maintain its phase (i.e., free-run).
10.2.8.1. Secondary function for LFO: Amplitude
The secondary function that is edited by holding Shift and turning the step encoders is
the amplitude of the LFO. This can be done for each step in the pattern. The values range
between 0 and 100, which is the default value.
The LFO will instantly jump to the new amplitude when a step is active.
