8.13.3. RECORD button

8.13.3.1. Step Record mode

If the sequencer is stopped or paused and the Record button is pressed, the MiniBrute 2 will

enter

Step Record [p.21]

mode. The Record button will be lit red, and any pads that contain

data will be lit red also.

8.13.3.2. Real-time recording

If you hold the Record button and then press Play, the MiniBrute 2 will enter

Real-time

recording [p.19]

mode. The Record button will be lit blue, the sequencer will start recording,

and all you have to do is play the pads as if they were piano keys. Your performance will be

recorded "live" but will be quantized to the Time Division value.

You can also enter Real-time recording mode by holding the Shift button and then pressing

Record.


