The third number in the set is the
maximum number of ports in a
stacking trunk. One indicates

Reconfigurable ports Supported The rear-module command can be used to
change stacking port speeds or to reconfigure
stacking ports as uplink ports and vice versa.
NOTE
Valid-stack-port sets are specific to
stacking port speed settings and
cannot be reconfigured.
Stack trunks Supported 2 X 40-Gbps bidirectional trunks are
supported on ports 1/3/1 to 1/3/2 and ports
1/3/3 to 1/3/4.
NOTE
When stacking port speed
changes, existing stacking trunk
configuration may be removed.

Hitless switchover and hitless failover Supported Refer to Hitless stacking on page 171.
License requirements Premium Layer 3, MACsec Static routing and RIP are the only Layer 3
protocols available without a license. All other
Layer 3 protocols require a Premium Layer 3
license.
A separate license is required for MACsec.

Access methods TFTP, SCP Software images, boot images, and signatures
can be downloaded to a stack using TFTP and
