Configuring an ICX 7650 trunk manually on a non-production system
Stacking trunks can be configured on ICX 7650 devices operating in 40-Gbps stacking mode.
The stack interactive-setup process includes the option to form trunks when multiple links are possible. You may also opt to
configure a trunk manually.
Follow these steps to create a trunk manually on an ICX 7650 stack that is not live.
NOTE
Stacking trunks can be configured only when the rear module is operating in 40-Gbps stacking mode. Refer to
ICX 7650
rear-module options on page 123 for more information.
NOTE
Trunk configuration may be removed when you change stacking speeds.
1. (Optional) Verify that stacking is enabled and that the rear module is configured in 40-Gbps stacking mode.

The example shows that the unit is operating in 40-Gbps stacking mode, but stacking is not enabled. No stacking links
are configured to other units.
