7.1
General maintenance instructions
●
Observe the maintenance instructions and maintenance intervals in the service
booklet.
●
Have any maintenance work not described in this manual carried out by an author-
ised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop.
●
Only use operating materials authorised by Arctic Cat.
●
Do not drive the vehicle if strange noises, vibrations or malfunctions occur. Have
the vehicle checked in an authorised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop.

Checking the coolant level
7.2.1
Checking the coolant level (Wildcat)
Check coolant level before every ride, as
follows:
1. Unscrew two screws (1).
2. Remove cover (2).
3. Unscrew cover (3).
4. Check coolant level.
5. Screw cover (3) into the orifice.
6. Place cover (2) onto the housing and
fasten with two screws (1).

WARNING
Never check the coolant level while the engine is hot or the cooling system
is pressurised.
NOTE
The cooler is installed in the housing behind the passenger compartment.
NOTE
The coolant shall cover the fins.
If the coolant level is too low, do
not drive the vehicle any more,
and have the coolant refilled at
an authorised Arctic Cat special-
ist repair shop.
