9. Tighten four nuts (7) applying a tightening torque of 11 Nm.
10. Lower the cargo platform.
11. Fasten each of the two retaining ropes with two screws (3) in accordance with the
removal notes. Tighten screws applying a tightening torque of 18 Nm.
Cargo securing
The cargo box is equipped with many lashing eyes. Always secure the cargo with suit-
able lashing straps.
4.18 Storage space / tool kit
4.18.1 Storage space / tool kit (Wildcat)
The vehicle has a lockable storage compartment in the dashboard.
The on-board tool kit is stored underneath the driver seat.
4.18.2 Storage space / tool kit (Prowler XT)
The vehicle has a storage compartment in the dashboard and a storage compartment
underneath the bonnet. To obtain access to the storage compartment underneath the
bonnet, release both straps on the end of the bonnet and fold bonnet forwards.
The on-board tool kit is stored underneath the driver seat.
4.18.3 Storage space / tool kit (Prowler HDX)
The vehicle has a storage compartment in the dashboard, a storage compartment
underneath the bonnet, and a storage compartment in front of each of the rear
wheels. To obtain access to the storage compartment underneath the bonnet, release
the two straps on the end of the bonnet and fold bonnet forwards. To obtain access
to a storage compartment in front of the rear wheel, release two latches and open
storage compartment cover.
The on-board tool kit is stored underneath the passenger seat.
ATTENTION
To prevent damages on the cargo box when using lashing straps with a ten-
sioning system, do not tension the lashing straps to strongly.
ATTENTION
When loading, observe the maximum permissible cargo load in the CoC.
