Compliance with Machinery Directive 2006/42 CEE,
once you have installed the equipment, you must
compile a Declaration of Conformity and a Scheduled
Maintenance Plan in compliance with the Machinery
Directive and then hand over copies of these
documents to the user.
Correct use of the operator
4.1
The operator is designed for use on swing gates for
intensive and continuous residential shared use, with a
maximum number of
700
opening/closings per day (for
FORTY 5500-4M) /

opening/closings per day (for FORTY
5500-7M).

the operator must be released so the gate can be moved

OPEN the sliding cover of the operator casing:

press lightly and slide it.
Lift the round cap of the lock to enter the unlocking key.

Turn 180 ° counterclockwise the supplied release key to
•
unlock.
When the gate has been opened or closed as required, the
•
operator must be locked again by turning the key through
180° in an clockwise direction.

Remove the release key after use and close the round
cap of the lock.

Always close the sliding cover of the operator
casing at the end of each release/relock
operation.
Routine maintenance
4.3
You should ask the company that installs the automation to
provide a scheduled maintenance plan in compliance with
the regulations for this type of equipment.
