Removing the throttle body
•
Fit the engine block on the engine support plate.
Specific tooling
8140839 Engine supporting plate
•
Undo the two screws and loosen the
piston rings.
•
Remove the throttle body.
Co rate adjustment
WARNING
DESPITE THE PRESENCE OF THE LAMBDA PROBE, IT IS STILL NECESSARY TO ADJUST CO
AS DESCRIBED BELOW.
CO adjustment
In this screen, the instrument panel sends the packages to increase or decrease the CO value. To
increase or decrease the value, use the UP and DOWN buttons in the control selector; the instrument
panel shows the set value. The set value will be stored by the ECU at KEY OFF.
The engine revs are shown at this stage.
The following message is displayed:

Turn the key to stop
Once the key extraction is been detected, the following message is displayed:

Turn the key to run
Once the key reinsertion is detected, while waiting to get the connection with the engine control unit,
the following message is displayed:

Wait for the connection
Once the connection is completed, the following messages are displayed:

Connection completed
•
Set value
•
CO = _ _ _
•
Turn the key to stop to save and exit
The value of the parameter that adjusts the CO should be expressed within the range between -127
and +128.
