Removing the

starter motor

Magneto flywheel removal

•

Remove the flywheel cover.

•

Unscrew and remove the flywheel fix-

ing nut.

•

Collect the washer.

•

Place the flywheel locking tool.

•

Check the flywheel is adequately

locked.

DO NOT ALLOW THE LOCKING TOOLS TO COME INTO
CONTACT WITH THE FLYWHEEL UPPER PROTRUSION.

•

Warm the flywheel with a specific heater.

•

Using the flywheel extractor, remove it from the crankshaft.
