Chapter 3 Specifications
Port LEDs
The status LEDs for individual ports are displayed only on the Bypass TAP and are not shown
on the W
EB
XR Ports screen. Two status LEDs are provided for each Bypass TAP port on the
unit.

XR chassis. Check the User Manual for
individual blades to determine the chassis in which each blade is supported.
When populated with I

blades, these switches allow you to aggregate, filter, and
direct data to network monitoring and analysis equipment. The software embedded in the
switch supports a browser-based graphical user interface, plus full command line and SNMP
interfaces.

• Solid
Illuminates during power up (initialization).
• Slow blinking
Blinks during normal operations.

Link
Off – The port is either empty, a transceiver is not installed, or a
link cannot be established using the installed transceiver.
On – A link is established to a patch partner via the transceiver
installed in the port.
Data
Off – Port is not transmitting (TX) or receiving (RX) data.
Blinking – Port is either transmitting (TX) or receiving (RX) data.
