Top
process
–
ABORT
When pressed, button #6 aborts the process currently running in the top section of the instrument.
This button is only displayed when an ABORT operation is allowed.

Bottom
process
–
Name
Box #7 always displays “SDF” to represent an SDF process within an IDF/SDF procedure or the precipitation process
within a TDF procedure.

Bottom

Progress
Box #8 displays the actual time remaining for the bottom process.

Action
Box #9 displays different detailed actions as they occur during the process that is currently running in the bottom section
of the instrument.
10.
Bottom
process
–
ABORT
When pressed, button #10 aborts the process currently running in the bottom section of the instrument.
This button is only displayed when an ABORT operation is allowed.
11.
FAULT
Button #11 is displayed if a fault occurs within the instrument. When button #11 is pressed, the Fault Screen is displayed.
This screen has information about all faults that have not been cleared. See the Fault Handling section of this manual for
more information.
12.
Display
Temperatures
When button #12 is pressed, temperatures of the In-line Heater and all six Heating Paddles are displayed.
The readings dynamically change as the temperature changes.
13.
Start
new
procedures
Button #13 is displayed when a top process completes. At that time, the button reads: “Start New Procedure?” Button #13
is also displayed when a bottom process completes and no top process is in progress. At that time, the button reads: “Main
Menu.” When button #13 is pressed, the appropriate screen for starting a new procedure is displayed.
