5.1
Overview
Procedure Main Steps
An overview of the ablation procedure process is listed below:
1. Enter patient information.
2. Enter lesion and target size.
3. Connect probes to the Generator by means of the
electrode connectors. At least one activation probe is
required.
4. Make probe selection/configuration.
5. Define ablation area.
6. Place probes at targeted ablation site.
7. Confirm or specify procedure pulse settings.
8. Deliver test pulse button on the console.
9. Start the procedure by using the double foot pedal.
The details are explained in following paragraphs starting with a
description of what each icon symbol represents that appear in
the screens (see 5.1.1 Table of Buttons), and then followed by
the Information Screen (see Figure 5-1).
