Fault Removal
In addition, the following faults may occur:

No aspiration allowed at
this point.
The system tries to aspirate
a volume, following an
aspiration or a dispensing
cycle, despite the fact that
the pistons have not yet
returned to their zero-
positions.
Correct program sequence
as necessary.
Aspirated volume too
small.
Aspirated volume is too
small.
Valid values are within the
range of 0.1 μ l - 25 μ l or
2 μ l - 250 μ l, depending
on the type of pipetting
head. Correct these values
accordingly.
Command requires more
parameters.
Command was transferred
to pipettor with some
required parameters miss-
ing.
Check transfer cables for
proper condition.
Check that available soft-
ware version is actually
configured for your system
(refer to Hardware system
information window in
[Devices] ) menu.
On failure to remove this
error, you should notify
the customer service.
Command unavailable in
this system state
A command was trig-
gered, but cannot be suc-
cessfully completed in the
present system state, for
example, command
attempted switching the
XY-position controller for
384-well microplates to a
new position, while verti-
cal drive motion was out
of switching range limits.
Change parameter set-
tings of fault-triggering
command to permissible
values.
