A preselected aspiration volume is aspirated in accordance with
[pipetting] function settings. During aspiration, the lifter and carriage
(rotary table) control unit remains inactive.

6. Move a microplate into position under the tips for pipetting of previously aspi-
rated liquid.

The aspirated volume will be dispensed with a subsequent delay time
