InnuPure C16
11. Move the loaded sample tray with the
reagent strips forward into the adapt-
er on the front of the InnuPure C16.
The serrated rails at the side of the
sample tray must protrude into the
grooves of the adapter. After press-
ing lightly against the tip block the
sample tray is automatically pulled in-
to the device.
CAUTION
!
Risk of crushing!
Immediately let go of the sample
tray once it is being pulled in.
Otherwise there is a risk of your hand
being crushed.
12. After pulling in of the sample tray start the extraction protocol:
–
In the start window press the [S
ELECT PROTOCOL
]
BUTTON
.
–
Select the desired extraction protocol and press [S
TART
]
(see chapter "Starting
and executing an extraction protocol" p. 30).
13. After completion of the entire protocol, the tray remains in the device until it is re-
quested by the user confirming the "Protocol End" step by means of the [N
EXT
] but-
ton. After the tray moves out of the device the protocol is automatically closed. To
remove the tray, press lightly against the tip block. The sample tray is then automati-
cally moved to the removal position.
14. Remove the sample tray from the adapter of the InnuPure C16 and move it back into
the priming station.
15. Close the elution vessels.
IMPORTANT! Load the sample tray evenly
For an extraction run, both adapters in the sample tray must
always
be populated to ensure
the tray is balanced and to allow for optimum movement of the tray inside the device to the
necessary positions:
If only extracting one sample, then insert an adapter with an empty strip or an emp-
ty deep well plate, if available, into the second adapter in the sample tray.
If processing more than one reagent strip during the extraction protocol, insert two
adapters into the tray if possible and distribute the strips evenly between them.
If processing all samples in a reagent plate, populate the second adapter with an
empty plate.
