BRAKE SYSTEM OIL CHANGE
Lock all wheels with wedges at the front and back, before acting on the
system piping and always engage the parking brake.
Place the machine on level ground with the parking brake engaged.
Clean the outside areas of the axle gears.
Place a rubber tube having a diameter of 8 mm and a length of about 50 cm in one of the two vents of each
axle.
Loosen the vent in question and press on the brake pedal until all the oil is drained
into a container prepared under the axle.
Remove the rubber tube and screw the vents.
Fill the brake tank
A
with the prescribed oil.
Proceed to the bleeding of the system as follows:
Seek the assistance of an operator that goes on the driving turret to operate the brake pedal.
Unscrew the vent by half turn and press the brake pedal until fluid free from air bubbles comes out from the vent.
Repeat this process on all the vents of the axles.
Top up the level.
The presence of air in the brake system makes the braking ineffective.
Always proceed to the air bleeding whenever you intervene on the braking
system. If you are not sure that this has happened, please contact the
technical staff.
Only use the brake fluid recommended by the manufacturer and proposed
in the supplies table.
The use of inappropriate fluids can damage the brake system.
Avoid environmental contamination. Store used oil in suitable containers
and deliver to the companies authorized by the consortium in charge of the
recovery of waste oils.
