Chapter 6 – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
It is indispensable for the operator to approach the first approcha with this machine with the use of allcontrols.
The operator must therefore practice all the handling procedures of the machine both during work and during
the transfer, in order to develop a good sens of the commands and the times of movement of the services they
are interested in..
This specific chapter intends to be a valid guide for those who already have good knowledge of the machine
and can then quickly review all the indications that will be reported.
6.1
PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Make sure the machine is prepared for the proper use.
Verify that all scheduled maintenance operations have been carried out both with regard to the intake and all
other deadlines.
If repairs have been carried out, make sure that the fixing elements and adjustments are tightened.
Before proceeding to any operation or maintenance on the machine,
always read chapter 3, the safety regulations regarding the operations to
be carried out.
6.2
REFUELLING
Before checking or refueling the fuel tank, make sure there are no free flames or
smokestacks in the area. Do not refuel with the motor in motion; do not use matches,
lighters or torches as a light.
Refill the machine with decanted diesel and no water residue.
Use a filter pump with a dispensing gun that will fit into the inlet duct after removing the cap.
It is advisable to refuel at the end of the day; to avoid condensation during the night-time break.
The key-cap is also equipped with a dripping device when the machine is overturned.
Do not run out of tank fuel (always check the reserve light). If this happens,
proceed to air bleeding in the motor feed circuit.
Use fuels according to the engine manufacturer’s recommendations (see Engine Operation and Mainteance
Manual). Operating with fuels that do not meet the engine manufacturer’s recommendations can cause the
following effects: start-up trouble, fuel filter life, low fuel combustion, fuel infectors, considerable reduction in fuel
life, deposits in the combustion chamber and reducing engine life.
