In places where there are underground water and gas pipes or high voltage cable pipes, contact the public
service to identify the location. Make sure these structures are not damaged.
Take special precautions when working near ditches, scuba diving or close to open exacations.
To carry out water operations or cross sand banks, check the condition of the stand and the depth and
speed of thee water flow.
Always proceed slowly on soils with shady haze, on bumps, near slopes or ravines, on icy or slippery
ground. Do not forget that the ground is damp and soft after heavy rains.
If the ground begins to slip, the machine may overturn, sag or overturn, causin serious injury.

Avoid crossing or overcoming obstacles such as boulders, trunks, stairs, diteches and tracks.

WORKING AREA
An area of work is defined as the area close to the machine where only persons involved are aware of the
machine’s operational capabilities. The driver of the vehicle can only operatoe when there are no people
within the scope of actin. The driver is obliged to warn of the danger of people who may be in the vicinity of
the vehicle. Such warnings are usually done by means of a beacon or a loudspeaker
Keep in the presence of unstable scaffoldings or structures such a safety distance that, even in the case of
accidental maneuver, there is no danger of contact with such structures.
VISIBILITY OF THE WORKING AREA
Always make sure that no people are in the vicinity of the machine before starting work.
Before climbing the vehicle, take a round of inspection around the machine.
Dust, smoke, fog, etc. may impair visual capabilities and cause accidents. Always stop or lower the vehicle
speed until the obstacle is removed and the working area is restored.
In the event that the operator is not able to supervise the area sufficiently, it is necessary to request the
intervention of a person who can provide him with useful indicatins, by means of manual messages to
delimit a progression of at least 12 m. this person must remain outside the work area and be clearly visible
to the operator.
In dark conditions, carefully check the work area, make use of all available lights, do not access areas with
too low visibility.
Always keep a clear view of the entire work area or maneuver.
If windows are installed in the cabin, they must always be clean and intact.
CONDITIONS IN THE JOBSITE
Before starting work, analyze and request topography and geological features of the site in order to take
appropriate preventive measures against any overturning of the machine or against any landslides. Holes,
obstructions, debris and other risks associated with work areas may cause physical or death damage.
Always insepct the yard and be careful to identify such risk elements before using the vehicle.
Observe all the conditions of the yard and always look in the direction of travel before committing any
movement maneuver.
Find out about moving people and means at work. Follow the instructions provided by signs and signals.
Do not start the job until all safety conditions have been checked.
