The operator must know the performance, weight and maximum load transportable from the machine to
ground conditions (flat, compact, sour, sloping).
Always make sure that the car’s support area is sufficiently firm and sturdy to support its weight and
therefore maintain adequate safety distance from the excavation edge.
Check that the site paths are adequate and the work areas are free and suitable for the transit of the medium
and for its stability.
Analyze and record the topography and geological features of the site in order to take appropriate
preventive measures against possible overturning of the machine, against landslides.
Consider soil characteristics ina complementary way to those of the machine; Operator-controlled variables
such as speed, slope angle, pitch of the ground, load.
Observe the capter on use of the slope.
Respecting the recommended slope limits does not mean that you can
maneuver the vehicle in full freedom in any condition of load, ground
or maneuver on the slope. In any case, it is advisable to halve gradient
values on humid or disjoint ground.
Pay close attention when you are to land on a sloping ground; place the upside-down box and downstream
drive.
Avoid limiting conditions and generally act with caution: adjusting speeds and paths to the ground and
visibility conditions, avoiding sudden braking and acceleration, sudden chane of direction and direction of
travel.
The medium can only be used on sloping terrain only withing the limits indicated by the manufactuer; it is
advisable to entrust the mediumto highly experienced operators in the presence of particularly rough and
uneven ground.
Do not steer sharply at high speed during driving.
The center of gravity of the machine can move in relation to the size and position of the load, the slope of
the ground and the movement of the machine.
During the tilting of the casing in the exhaust, the center of gravity changes continuously and soil conditions
willdetermine the stability of the machine. There are special dangers for rollers on wheels that operate on
soft ground and if the material to be discharged adheres to the hull, eg. Damp clay or frozen materials.
This can cause the machine to lose its stability; it is necessary to carefully check.
This can cause the machine to los its stability; it is necessary to carefully check the stability beforehand
and provide measures to facilitate its unloading.
If you are required to download the material from the edge of a scarp, place end-of-stop devices. These
devices must be of sufficient material and strength to prevent the machine from advancing.
Never approach the slopes without securing the machine with stop
devices.
The machine is equipped with ROPS safety booth. In the case of overturning, however, it is necessary that
the operator is fastened with the seat belts, otherwise it will be projected ouside and will run the risk of
being crushed by the vehicle.
In case of overturning
The protective structure makes the driving position the only safe place to stay in case of overturning of the
machine.
During rollover
Do not leave the driving position, sit seated by clinging firmly to your seat or steering wheel.
