If the structure was involved in an accident, do not use the machien until the facility has been replaced or
inspected by qualified personnel.
The ROPS structure guarantees a safe guard if the operator has properly secured the seat belt. For this
reason always keep the seat belt secure while the machine is in operation.
FOPS STRUCTURE
The FOPS structure is used to protect the operator in case of falling objects from above.
FOPS is an integral part of the cabin.
The FOPS structure complies with the requirements of the machine type. If the structure is modified without
permission or damage, its stability decreases. In that case it is no longer able to perform its function properly
and must be replaced.
If the structure was involved in an accident, do not use the machine until the facility has been replaced or
inspected by qualified personnel.
SEAT BELT
Check that the belt does not have scratches or cuts, and that it has not undergone strong stresses
(overturning); in these cases substitution is required.
Keep the seat belts in the correct position on the seat and avoid tampering; do not alter or change your
belts in any way.
Keep them always clean.
Chose the most comfortable driving position according to your body. Adjust seat positin. Check the
operation of the regulator and the buckle, the functioning of the rollers (if provided) and the method to
control the belt lock. Adjust the strap tension so that it can hold the operator to the level of the hips, leaving
the abdomen completely free.
VERIFICATIONS BEFORE TO START THE MACHINE
It is forbidden to start the machine if DAMAGED.
Before using the machine, make sure there is no danger condition.
Also make sure you have sufficient autonomy to avoid the risk of a forced shutdown of the machine, perhaps
during a critical maneuver.
Check that the steering and working controls and brakes are working properly. In case of irregularities,
warn the maintenance manager and stop the machine.
Check that all safety devices and safety devices are in the right position and are in a condition that can be
maneuvered.
Ensure that all safety devices in the machine and work area are working properly.
In case of any kind of problem, give immediate notice to the proposed staff (chief executive officer, superior,
etc.) and do not start the job if there are no necessary security conditions.

START OF MACHINE
Before starting the machine, check and adjust the seat position to ensure maximum comfort in the steering
and the best handling of the controls, and to tie the seat belts.
Adjust the mirrors so that the rear of the
machine is clearly visible from the operator’s seat.
Check that the indicators work correctly, check the angle of the lights and work lights (if present).
Do not drive the machine from a position other that the seat in the driving seat. Never attempt to start the
engine by short-circuiting the starter; this can cause a fire, or serious injury.
Always stay with your head, body and limbs inside the driving seat to avoid exposing yourself to any external
dangers.
Do not allow people other than the operator to get on the machine.
Do not try to start the machine by releasing it along a slope.
Make sure any people remain outside the range of the machine before starting and using the services.
