Watch Dog Timer
Set this option to
Enabled
to use the MegaDual Watch Dog Timer. If the system locks
up, this timer will reset it. System lock is assumed if there is no PCI bus cycle for about 1.2
seconds. This option is useful in cases where the system must always be on. The settings
are
Enabled
or
Disabled
. The Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings are
Disabled.
Graphics Aperture Size
This option specifies the amount of memory aperture, or addressing, requested by
the Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP). In most cases, the 64 MB default setting should not
be changed unless specified in your AGP card manual.
This option has no relation to physical memory. A 64 MB aperture, for example, means
that the AGP card will be assigned a 64 MB address slot below 4 GB. This is regardless of
physical memory installed.
The settings are
4 MB, 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB,
or
256 MB.
The Optimal
and Fail-Safe default settings are
64 MB.
Memory ECC Mode
Set this option to
H/W ECC
to allow automatic detection and correction of single-bit
ECC errors. Set this option to
S/W ECC
to allow the chipset to correct ECC errors, and
AMIBIOS to log the ECC errors. The settings are
Disabled, S/W ECC,
or
H/W ECC
. The
Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings are
Disabled.
