Periodic Inspection List

maintenance work.

Method
• Check the hose for deterioration or damage. If the hose is defective,
replace it.
• Check the brush for wear. If the brush is worn (if suction is poor),
replace it.
• Check the power cord for deterioration, damage, or poor connection.
If the sheath is broken (if the core is exposed), stop operation immedi-
ately and replace the cord.
• Check the plug area to make sure it is free of damage and deformation.
If the cord is connected to a terminal board, check that the connection
is tight.
• Check that the filter is installed correctly. If the filter is loose or de-
tached, reinstall it correctly.
• Check that the filter is free of damage and dust leaks. If the filter is
damaged, replace it.
• Check the condition of the center frame. If the frame is damaged or
bent, replace it.
• Be sure that no dust is leaking into the exhaust. If leakage is occurring,
check the filter and replace it if necessary.
• Switch the power
ON
and
OFF
several times and make sure there is
no arcing (blue sparks) at the electromagnetic-switch contact. If arcing
occurs, replace the electromagnetic switch.
